Founded in 1991, to meet the needs of the medical industry, Doyen were the first in the world to offer customers full validation packaging as standard. The Doyen range expanded with the acquisition of Bodolay Pratt's in 1994. In 1997, Doyen acquired Datum Ltd., a leading European supplier of Sterile Grade Pouching and Wound Care Dressing Fabrication machinery. Doyen's continued expansion provides our customers with contiguous support and now Contract Services for manufacturers of wound care dressings, invitro diagnostic devices and other disposable medical products.
Doyen is recognized throughout the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industries for devising unique manufacturing solutions that increase production throughput and improve operational efficiencies in a validated environment. Doyen has successfully supplied machinery to leading companies such as Baxter Healthcare (Allegiance), Johnson & Johnson, Novartis, Smith & Nephew, Becton Dickinson, Scimed, Medtronics, Pharmacia and UpJohn, ConvaTec, Cordis, SSL International, Alza, and many more
