Innovative Technologies Group plc. have recently increased their packaging capacity following the installation of a Doyen Electronic Four Side Seal machine at their site in Cheshire. Manufactured in Norwich and supplied with a full set of validation documentation, the machine is intended for use in packaging a wide range of woundcare dressings and other medical products.

The servo-controlled, Four Side Seal machine assures accurate, repeatable and validatable operation through the unique patented construction and separate electronic control of each of the four drive modules. Easy peel, non tear, high integrity seals are achieved through individually temperature controlled sealing rollers ensuring changes in one machine area do not affect other areas.

The machine operates via a user-friendly touch screen interface enabling a "no tools" product changeover to a totally new pack within 20 minutes. The machine is also able to produce up to 36 different pack specifications at speeds of up to 250 packs per minute.
